As a revisit to an homage and appropriation of Jasper Johns "flag" motif painting [1954-55], as well as a continuum from my "911" series" [2001], this time: "an assault on humanity and hitting home" [2018]. In the genre of recycled "Fire" Art, the remnant material collected from my burnt down Glen Ellen home and studio lost in the Nuns Wildfire, 2017, transforms from loss then to gain now for healing and contribution to move forward.
